Berklee Family Story

Berkelee was born August 30th six weeks early. After she was born she was having difficulty breathing and was transferred to the NICU at Freeman. Once we arrived at the NICU and Berkelee was stabilized the staff helped us get set up to stay at the Ronald McDonald house. I cannot put into words the weight that’s lifted off your shoulders knowing that you’ll be within 5 minutes of your baby and not having to worry about the financial stress of paying for gas to commute back and forth or a hotel. For us being forty- five minutes from home it was such a blessing to be able to stay so close by. The staff at the Ronald McDonald house was wonderful and our family can’t sing their praises enough!
