The Matney Family’s Story
Carl Junction, Missouri
Wade Matney was born to Mary and Michael three weeks early on January 30, 2012, and weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. On his third day in the hospital he was admitted to the NICU. His parents and sister Ella, stayed close by at Ronald McDonald House. Two days later Wade was able to go home. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States.

Their staff and volunteers were more than happy to welcome complete strangers, as we were at the time, with open arms into their beautiful home. We were even sent home with a big basket full of gifts for our family.
